Hello, Ukraine received the status of a verified organisationAt the end of April 2025, the Hello, Ukraine charitable foundation was verified by the Ukrainian NGO Philanthropy in Ukraine. Since then, information about the foundation has been posted in the catalogue of verified organisations on philanthropyinukraine.org. This will help attract more support to continue the mission of Hello, Ukraine.

ABOUT PHILANTHROPY IN UKRAINE

The Philanthropy in Ukraine team modernises the philanthropic ecosystem to increase the effectiveness of non-profit organisations in Ukraine.

The organisation has three areas of work:

1) managing and maintaining a web-based platform with a catalogue of reliable public sector organisations that increases the visibility of non-profit organisations in Ukraine;

2) research and analysis of philanthropy and charity;

3) capacity building of non-profit organisations' staff.

HOW ORGANISATIONS ARE VERIFIED

The Philanthropy in Ukraine Catalogue aims to build trust in charitable and civil society organisations working in various fields, as well as to promote cooperation with potential donors, partners and other stakeholders.

In order to be included in the catalogue, organisations must go through a verification process that includes submitting an application and subsequent verification of documents by a team of independent experts who are specialists in philanthropy and charity.

The basis for the development of the verification criteria was the International Donor Verification Criteria and the Recommendations on Quality Standards and Good Governance for Civil Society Organisations as a Confidence Building Mechanism developed by ISAR Ednannia. They were finalised by the Philanthropy in Ukraine team together with Ukrainian and international experts in the field of civil society. Thus, the verification criteria are in line with international and Ukrainian standards.
